What is a MOTIVID?
It's a motivational video, duh.
What can I learn from this website?
Who are you and why do you love ramen so much?
My name is Brian Abion. I was born in a third world country called the Philippines. Yes it is beautiful and vast, but growing up all i remember was poverty. From eating ocean snails growing up in the jungles, collecting beer bottle caps as toys, and seeing a grown man pass away before i turned the age of six, its not exactly something I want to go back to. But it taught me many things and I for one am grateful for the experience of not being born with a silver spoon in my mouth. It taught me humbleness, the unwavering faith to stay strong, and that coming out of that environment was a blessing from God and that I am meant to help change this world for the better.
There is a type of poverty out there people don't even know about and its painful to watch anyone go through it. I am here to change that. I love ramen so much because my mother and I grew up on Maruchan ramen until my dad told me that it was too much sodium and I needed to stay away. After experiencing AUTHENTIC Japanese Ramen, my life has been changed forever.
What is your Purpose?
To inspire, motivate, propel, move, push, pull, elevate, enhance, optimize, [insert 50 more verbs] people in such a way and fashion that their goals, destinies, and dreams intersect with reality.
Without a purpose, you are dead.
Fire has a purpose of bringing nutrients back to the soil, a river has the purpose of providing water to wildlife, and fish have a purpose of nourishing us with food. Everything has a purpose whether you see it or not, and it is vital that we find our own. Mark Twain said "There are two most important days in your life, the day you are born, and the day you find out why." I remember this exactly because it changed my life. I looked in the mirror the day i read this and I was dissatisfied at who was staring back. With no dreams, no goals, and no purpose I was living life the same way every single day. Paycheck to paycheck, 9-5 job, just miserable. Figuring out your purpose is imperative, because when you are pursuing what you want out life, truly giving it everything you got, and the days that the money doesn't come in, your PURPOSE, your WHY is what will carry you.
What is your Vision?
I want to be genuine with every single person I meet, finding the ROOT cause of why it is you are where you are and why you aren't moving forward. My enemy is 'being stagnant.' And I will cure everyone from it.
Close your eyes.
If you were to see yourself pursuing what you love most, what would it be? Where would you travel? What kind of people would you have breakfast, lunch, and dinner with? Would you live on the beach or on top of a cliff?
This is your dream. This is what you want most out of life, this is where you ask yourself "Is it worth giving up everything for?" and then give it a couple of minutes...and confidently say "Yes." You must pay attention to your vision on a daily basis as a reminder of what you want, how you want it, and what it will take to get there. Never let go of this, your future self will thank you.
